Bernard Perron
Bernard Perron is a senior lecturer at the department of art history and cinemato-graphic studies of the University of Montreal.
With Routledge he co-edited the anthologies The Video Game Theory Reader (2003) et The Video Game Theory Reader 2 ( coming out in 2008 ). He wrote Silent Hill : Il motore del terrore (Costa & Nolan, 2006), analysing the famed horror video game series.
He is currently in the process of making the Gaming After Dark anthology, Essays on Horror Video Games ( McFarland, due to come out in 2009 ). He sets out to investigate video game, interactive cinema, cognition, the narrative and the game related characteristics of narrative film, as well as the intermediary tasking involved in montage.
